How to take care of SignoraWare products:

SignoraWare products are tested and trusted for the best usage in the kitchen, home and outdoors. With a little care, you can keep these attractive durable storage products looking as fresh as new.

Maintenance of SignoraWare products:
For cleaning and storage, wash and rinse SignoraWare products with liquid soap and lukewarm water. Store the material without seal to keep them fresh.
Removing stains : Use baking soda paste on stains for reducing stains and stickiness.

How to use containers and seals:
Cool beverages before handling or applying the seal. Bring hot food or liquid to room temperature containing fat (cooking oil, curries or sauces) before placing them in containers

Use for liquid items:
Products with round seal are liquid tight and can be kept in any position. Keep containers with other types of seals in upright position.

Preventing cuts and scratches:
Do not use sharp scrubbers or dry detergents or low quality detergents.

Hot food and Beverages:
Cool all the hot food before storing in the containers to retain the food value and liquid tightness.

Removing unpleasant odours:
Keep a piece of charcoal or stuff a moist newspaper in the container and leave it sealed for more than 12 hours in the fridge. Wash and rinse the product thoroughly. Sometimes keeping in sunlight for short span can be useful in getting rid of unpleasant odours.

SignoraWare Guarantee
SignoraWare products are guaranteed for normal domestic and non-commercial use.

Conditions for guarantee of products:
Any normal breakage, chipping, cracking, peeling , splitting, warping, stress cracking is guaranteed.

Conditions for non guarantee of products:
SignoraWare products will not come under guarantee if it is used for heating in microwave beyond permissible temperature, hit or rubbed with sharp and hard objects and bitten by insects or rats. These products are not guaranteed if they undergo rough usage, like scratching, staining, melting under excess heat, mishandling or accidental cases. The bags and sleeves are not covered under guarantee, unless there is any manufacturing defect in new bags only.

Replacement Policy

If the surface of the product is rough and used up to the life of the product then there will be no replacement.

Replacement Cases (Regarding Base):

  1. Any kind of manufacturing defect.     
  2. Bottom crack due to stress.    
  3. Crack through feed point and side wall deformation.    
  4. Locking issues.
  5. Crack at handle.    
  6. Hinge crack.
  7. Crack in packaging.

Replacement Regarding Seal :

  1. In case of loose seal due to normal use and not due to overheating.
  2. Peeling under normal use.
  3. Hinge trunnion damage.
  4. Crack at grooves.
  5. Crack through side weld.

Non-Replacement Cases (Regarding Base):

  1. Melting by hot surface.    
  2. Spot marks bubbles due to overheating in microwave.    
  3. Seal creeping and melting due to use in microwave.    
  4. Stickiness due to poor maintenance.    
  5. Cuts by sharp object.    
  6. Rat or insect bite.
  7. Biting by children.
  8. Scratching due to mishandling and poor maintenance.
  9. Water leakage other than round seals.
  10. Staining from food.

Regarding Seal:

  1. Staining from food.
  2. Melting by hot surface.
  3. Spot marks bubbles due to overheating in microwave.
  4. Scratching due to mishandling usage of scrubber or dry or low quality detergent.
  5. No replacement in case of keeping the seal in microwave.

HOW TO USE AIR-TIGHT/LEAK-PROOF SEAL:-

SQUARE SEAL

  • To seal, press seal groove over rim of the container. Press thumb over top of seal. Lift one edge slightly to expel air. Press back tightly.
  • To open, lift seal at one corner and pull gently.

MODULAR OVAL SEAL

  • To seal, press seal groove over rim of the container. Press thumb over top of seal.  Lift one edge and press the centre with the thumb to expel air. Press back tightly.
  • To open, pull one end, slide thumb under it and pull gently.

MICROWAVE SEAL

  • To seal, place seal groove over rim of the container, press thumb over the top of seal uniformly.
  • To reheat, open steam release cap and use in microwave for three minutes.
  • To open, hold container in place, lift edge of the lid to open seal.

ROUND LEAK PROOF SEAL

  • To seal, place seal groove over rim of the container. Lift one edge and press the center to expel air. Press back tightly by pressing with thumb around it.
  • To open, lift seal at one corner and pull gently.

CENTER PRESS SEAL

  • To seal, place seal groove over rim of the container. Lift one edge and press center to expel air. Press center again while pressing it back tightly with thumb.
  • To open, press centre again and lift seal at one corner and pull gently.

TUMBLER-ROUND LEAK PROOF SEAL

  • To seal, press seal groove over rim of the tumbler. Lift one edge and press center to expel air. Press back tightly.
  • To open, lift seal at one corner and pull gently.

PRECAUTION
Use soapy water and soft cloth for cleaning your SignoraWare products. Never use scrubber or any hard material for cleaning. Not meant to be used in microwave for browning or grilling. Temperature control between -10˚ to +120˚. High fat, oil, sugar content or toxic colours in food items may cause discolouring or staining while heating in microwave.

USING CONTAINERS IN MICROWAVE
While using SignoraWare containers in microwave, seal of the containers should be open or removed. The company is not responsible for any deformation or loss of seals, if used wrongly.

SignoraWare products are guaranteed against chipping, cracking or breaking. Guarantee is valid only if the products are used in normal and non-commercial use.
